Vera Portatadino’s work lies within the horizon of painting understood as a constructive field. Through glazes, essential marks, and minimal chromatic variations, the artist creates surfaces that question the relationship between the visible and the latent.
Her painting is not about illustrating, but about generating conditions for experience: the viewer is drawn into a slow, contemplative reaction, guided by an intrinsic musicality made of pauses, repetitions, and chromatic resonances.
